  1. Gulp! That’s a lot of questions for a game to “past time”!!!
    I’ve played 1 box of Sudoku so sorry, I can’t answer. But I do intend to collect all the puzzles from the daily and do it after my exams. 🙂

    Why do I play? Well, because I enjoy gaming in general, and intellectual masturbation in particular 🙂
    Other games would be jigsaws, chess, go…

  5. I played that one ‘box’ (still have 8 boxes left to finish that one puzzle) for that mental challenge. Have been quite deprived of puzzles because of my studies. (No time for them)

  7. That’s very interesting, because I had never heard about Sudoku until earlier today. A friend of mine is selling Sudoku e-books on eBay. I think he said they were .99 and buy 2 get one free, something like that. I’ll provide you with a link if you’re interested.
    I’ve never actually played them myself, but it looks rather interesting.

  11. I have a SuDoKu widget on my Powebook desktop. I do one or two every day. It seems to help improve my ability to problem solve and think quickly. (Or maybe that’s just faulty logic.)

    I linked to a great free Sudoku site. It’s one of my favourites because it gives really useful advice and tells you the errors you’ve made even when it’s not obvious you made a mistake (as in it anticipates a problem in the future…)

    Thanks for the keen web URL.
    Tell me the difference between the easy and hard puzzles. How is difficulty determined? All the puzzles use the same numbers… 😀 Do the hard puzzles give you less starter numbers?

  22. The hard ones require more logic to figure them out. I don’t know how they make them more difficult. The numbers are spaced differently? I’m not really sure!
    But I finally got the one I was working on last night. Which made me happy. Until my buddy got the same one in a matter of hours and I felt slow. 🙂

  28. i am a sudoku finatic, they are so addictive, they difently pass the time on the way to work, i measure how fast i was by seeing at what point in my journey i have finished each puzzle…although some take me the entire journey and back
