I am currently flying high above you as I leave Sacramento behind and head back into the belly of Jersey City.

I will check in here again with you when I am safe back on the ground.

  1. I always see planes flying in their “highway in the sky” from the east coast to Midway and O’Hare. The air route goes right over my backyard. The weather is poor tonight, but if I see their landing lights at 30000 feet, I’ll think about your flight from the west coast.
Speaking about flying from west to east. Why is it that every flight from Las Vegas to points eastward seems to leave in the late evening? The same is true for US to Europe. Every time I fly anywhere east of where I am, I end up leaving in the afternoon and arriving in the morning.

I’m back and on my second pot of coffee already trying to get everything rebooted here! It’s hard to get synched back up — especially when I have to remember where I hid everything and locked away all my goodies!
