In case you missed it, here’s a review of the past week in High Fashion.

My two favorites are the bell as a bell-bottom skirt and the javelin shoe.

  1. I can’t believe I’m first comment. I come here and someone always starts a discussion first. This is some pressure. The bell skirt makes me think how I would sit down. The javelin shoe can’t be more painful than my stiletto heels.

    I agree the javelin shoe is interesting. I’m trying to get a review copy of the shoes so I can write a review to rival my Nike Free article!

  3. That’s a review I would enjoy seeing. Be sure you take photographs of you wearing the javelin shoe. I’m not sure I understand the meaning behind fashion. Is it supposed to make us feel pretty or depress us? I don’t know any women who could afford or wear any of those crazy clothes.

  5. If they made clothes for fat ugly people they would probably do better business. I know I would be a customer. Beauty is admired but I think ugly sells. There is more ugly than pretty people.

    I also like the bell bottoms — I wonder if they’ll be in competition with the hot Apple Bottoms jeans? 🙂

  11. how does that woman with the nail … er, how does she …. um do things? and, i’m guessing whomever designed that skirt, never considered that maybe the person wearing it may need the water closet? does it come with a diaper, i wonder? lol.
    fashion is, er, indeed, quite strange.
