I learned the secret of mind control from a colleague of mind at a major university on the East Coast of the United States. 
He used a form of this trick/Jedi Mind-Meld/Instant Hypnosis to get students to listen to him instead of just hearing him during lecture sessions.


My friend came up to me at a department party and spoke to me in a low voice I had to strain — nay, concentrate — to understand.

He said, “I’m nobody and I was never here.”

I curiously looked at him.  Was he talking to me?

He gazed into my eyes and spoke in an even quieter, calm, tone:  “You’re not seeing me.”

“Okay,” I said.  “Then who am I talking to?”

“Nobody.” He said.  “You’re talking to yourself.”

As I nodded my head, my friend silently turned away and disappeared.

When I saw my friend the next day, I wondered why he hadn’t shown up to the department party the day before.
