I was in a fast food restaurant the other day with a friend when I realized there is a specific reason for creating combination orders. I had always thought the reason for “order by the number” was for speed, but now I have a different notion.
You wouldn’t think such a simple task — standing in a fast food line and ordering food — would be such a treacherous production tinted with repressed Racial hatred; but you never know what you’ll end up ordering up when you’re stuck in a fast food line at Burger King.
Trying to live a healthy life in a chemical world is tough — so I was delighted to read last week news that the American Journal of Cardiology was taking a stand against the high fat in fast food by countering the saturated fat intake with a side of statins at checkout:

Oh, my! Who would’ve guessed three weeks ago that, after turning Vegan, I’d be eating at McDonalds’ again! McDonalds have been disparaged in the Vegan and Vegetarian communities for a long while as the largest purchasers of factory farmed beef in the world. Who would’ve ever guessed McDonalds would turn around and offer — in limited quantities — a beefless “burger” for those who choose to not eat meat? Well, they have, and I’m here to tell you about it.
