He knew too much
He felt too deep
The pain of humanity.
He could not live
With the agony
Knowing the cause of it.
He understood too much
too young.
He wanted peace
for him and us.
The love he knew
is there, where he chose to go.
He wanted quiet
among his domain
no matter how humble
it was.
To protect the wild
and nature
for him and us.
Then one night
his quiet was invaded
disturbing to the wild,
in anger he protected
which was close to his heart.
Not knowing the outcome
of his action, that fateful night
he suffered more than
ever before,
because of his peaceful
soul.
He learned too much
too soon.
He hurt too much
too long.
My beloved son
My beloved son.
