Clay Aiken announced this week he was going to be a father.  Some in the media chuckled at the notion that Clay Aiken had the want and ability to father a child with a woman.

We do not care about the means or the memes involved in Clay’s notion to be a father.

We respect his decision to love a child.

We honor his desire to lead the life of a courageous father.

We must not judge the man or quantify the intention.

We
must only care about the end result:  The future success and joy of the
child that found purchase and birth in the hope of a father.
