I’m not sure what’s going on with this blog, and my verified Facebook page, but over the last few months, I’ve been getting lots of requests — more than usual — to add paid links in my old articles as well as being offered “thousands of dollars” to post advertising on my Facebook page.
There is one undeniable delight in writing: You are able to preserve what you know, defend the facts of your knowing, reconcile the truth, and create your own bookshelf of your life’s work. There is a great moral duty and an ongoing human wondering in the task of the living author — one that must not be slighted in practice or disparaged in theory — even when the current events of the day and the damnation of history are upon us.
If you have been to college in the last 2o years, an internship was likely part of your valuable learning process. Interns must be paid at for-profit companies — either by the company or the school — or else one risks abusing volunteer student work as slave labor.

I hate take taking the time trying new things and coming away from the experience with a “So What?” reaction. Yesterday, I tripped on gravity and clicked on Twinterest and, five minutes later, I left with a “So What?” in hand a bunch of meaningless screenshots in my pocket.
