The idea of living under a Tea Bagger Nation is a nightmare few would cotton to and that is why each and every one of their candidates must be stopped dead at the polls. Tea Baggers are about violence and stupidity and hatred and Racism and fear and they crave authoritarianism under the rule of their burnt thumbs. It is up to us to stop their steeping.

I have heard more stories about dying friendships than I thought. Someone I know would tell me that they dreaded the idea of seeing someone, because they didn’t enjoy the stories that the person tells or, for that matter, how the person behaves. I have to ask them why they bother hanging out with that person if they don’t enjoy spending time with them and the answer almost always comes back the same — they have known them for a great number of years (15, 20, sometimes more) and they don’t want to ruin a long friendship after everything that they have been through.
In a thoughtful article published in the October 4, 2010 issue of The New Yorker magazine, SuperGenius author Malcolm Gladwell posits the argument the next human revolution will not be via social networks like Twitter and Facebook because those modern day feebles rely on “weak-tie” agreements instead of the in-person, militaristic “strong-tie” actions of the Civil Rights movement in the 1960’s.

When something is so bad that just the mention of the name of that thing makes people shiver with disgust, what is the best thing for the people associated with that thing to do? Change the name of that thing to make it sound like something completely different, of course? Let’s say you run a billion dollar company that most people associated with killing millions of people through tobacco products. I am referring to Philip Morris, of course. What do you do if you run this bad name company? Change it to Altria, of course.
