The iPhone 3G Dictionaries Review

We celebrate writing on this WordPunk blog — and we do love our new iPhone 3G — even though the White Apple of Death drives us nuts daily. One of the invaluable assets for the iPhone 3G is the Apps Store.  I spent $100.00USD to buy several dictionaries for use on my iPhone 3G.  In this review, I will look up one of my favorite words — “semiotic” — and one of my favorite people — “Clinton” — to see what results are returned.  You do not need an internet connection to use any of these dictionaries.  All definitions are installed on your iPhone 3G.

Since the American dollar is so devalued the world over, there’s a United States fire sale going on, and the world at large is buying up our most cherished American icons.   Belgium’s InBev — bottlers of Beck’s, Bass and Stella Artois — offered $46 billion to purchase major United States bottler Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser, Michelob, Rolling Rock, Busch, Bacardi) and its American eagle branded business.

American Somnambulism: Heads I Win, Tails You Lose

The best way to win a bet against someone who trusts you is to speak fast and appear to offer two choices while both choices actually lead to the result you want. The brightest schoolyard example of this ploy is a coin toss where the tosser flips a quarter into the air while setting up the rules of the game: “Heads I win, tails you lose.”
