A Bucket of Bigots and the Long Con

The only problem with Hillary Clinton calling the hardcore Trump believers a “Basket of Deplorables” is that she was too kind, and she didn’t go far enough in her descriptors.

Instead of being insulted by her, or being embarrassed for being called out on the who, and the of what they were, and are, Trump voters took Hillary’s reality check insult, spun it around, and created a “Deplorables” cottage industry that thrives today; along with echoing “Lock Her Up” chants, and “But What About Her E-mails?” t-shirt logo longings.

Hillary should have stopped being kind, and just delivered the unvarnished truth unto us all. Those Trump voters were not “deplorables” — they were just your ordinary, everyday, street Bigot. They were a Bucket of Bigots! No baskets, no deplorables, need apply.

Bagging the Tea Party

I have been stumped why the miscreants in the Tea Bag Party haven’t been shunned and shown the curb by now when it comes to governing our nation.  Instead of summarily dismissing them for their insane, anti-American wishes, the President kowtows to them and coddles them and attempts to pacify them.  The Republicans are terrified of their own radicals and refuse to control them.  What now?  Unrestrained hatred will flow downhill into every creek and river to poison the land and foul the watershed until we’re all dead or dying.

Why Should We Save NPR from Slashing Its Own Throat?

The slimy attack on NPR by the same immoral idiots who previously tried to ravage Planned Parenthood makes it clear we are in the midst of a cultural jihad from the jingoistic hard right wing of the Republican party.  Good people need to stand up, and shout, “Enough!” against these crusaders — because the mainstream media won’t do it because they are too busy being led around like lost puppies by these dark and evil forces that survive only to cut down our free speech and temper any debate in their favor.
