I spend a lot of time on the internet and lately I’ve seen the following blue avatar popping up in use many different places by separate people. Have you seen this blue image before? If so, do you know its semiotic and semantic meanings?
If you’re a word lover, then you’ll go bonkers for the fun and learning you can have with Visual Thesaurus. Just type in your word and you’ll be presented with an associative visual mapping. In the example below, I keyed in “duplicitous” as my base word. The various branches extend the meaning and history of the word with other words. Hover over any of the words in the Visual Thesaurus interactive box and you’ll be presented with extended definitions.

We love a Semiotic world where images can have a variety of meanings and influences depending on the eye perceiving the message.
I have a lovely friend who is known to make up fanciful lies — mainly to entertain those that whirl around her in New York — and to assuage any pain or lonesomeness in her life.
You always wonder where her reality begins and the fantasy ends.
Do you dream in color? Are you lucid in your dreams? Are you able to actively dream while awake?
It’s a fair question to wonder on the meaning of a “Celebrity Semiotic”
— what is it, what does it mean, and what are you doing with the idea
here? The celebrity is the image — sometimes a craven image —
that lives beyond the ordinary life and into the excesses of the future
and the past.
