Searching via iPhone Now Fixed!
We discovered an oddity with the premium Elemin theme we are using here on WordPress.com: You could not search our articles using an iPhone if we turned off all the “mobile-specific” theme displays.
Boles Blogs Browser Wars: Chrome vs. Firefox vs. Safari
As you may know, Boles Blogs is now a combination of 14 other blogs that used to make up the Boles Blogs Network. Everything is simpler, and more “findable” now that we’re all under the same mindset, and that’s a good and grand thing. We’re also now on the WordPress.com “Business” platform, and that bundling of valuable resources all in one place is one of the fine benefits of being hosted on WordPress.
One of the chits of the Business platform is having free and unfettered access to any and all “Premium” WordPress.com themes. We are currently using the keen and very clean premium “Elemin” theme you can see in the screenshot below. I’m viewing the page in the Chrome browser for Mac:

Twenty Ten Rotating Image Header Tutorial for WordPress.com
UPDATE: December 9, 2010
This morning, we removed the rotating headers from all 13 blogs in the Boles Blogs Network because calling all those remote images was significantly adding a lot of page load time for our articles. We’ve gone back to using a single header image for each blog hosted here on WordPress.com, and we hope you’ll notice, and appreciate, the speed gains. This tutorial is still valid as of this writing, so if you’re still interested in remotely serving called image headers for your blog, the information here should still be valid.

After reading a keen blog post from Automattic’s Nick Momrik — concerning new default image headers for the WordPress.com Twenty Ten theme — I decided to see if I could get my Cutline Rotating Image Header Tutorial working with the new, default, Twenty Ten theme we are currently using for the Boles Blogs Network here on WordPress.com.
