A basic, but VERY good quiche. Try using different ingredients for a different taste. |

Ingredients: |
Try substituting the cheese with
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Use broccoli instead of mushrooms
Or try frozen, thawed spinach |
1 1/2 cups grated Swiss cheese
8 slices crisply fried bacon, crumbled
1 frozen pie shell, thawed
1 cup Half and Half cream
1/4 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3 whole eggs
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 tsp powdered mustard |
Directions: |
- Into a frozen, thawed pie shell, sprinkle the grated Swiss cheese and crumbled bacon.

- Mix together the remaining ingredients. Pour into the pie shell on top of the cheese and bacon.

- Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until firm.
