I am the Night Train Killer.

You must catch me if I can.

I will kill again.

I fly invisible in night air like soot.

I rumble the earth like steel vibrating tracks.

I run through you like iron in blood.

Never noticed, always forgotten, I creep upon your memories and I seed your bitterness; your death is slow and deliberate and never unavoidable.

That whistle you hear in the distance, faintly approaching, but never quite going away, is the whisper of my name in the wind of your tongue.

They call me Night Train.

By the time you read this, I will have killed again.

    1. Thank you, I think. SMILE!

You’re right about Discovery ID — excellent channel — but the deaths can seep into you.

  2. Scary story and a good one, David!

    1. Thank you, sir Gordon. It was an odd experience to write.
