You see it all the time in the streets now — Gender Resentment is on the rise — and, I argue, even though I don’t support it, Gender Resentment is the directly descended result of the women’s liberation movement where men now abandon their common courtesy and human values when it comes to “equalizing” women by diminishing them in public.
Is Lady GaGa a hermaphrodite? Should it matter if she has a vagina or a penis or neither or both? Are you aware of the intensive “Lady GaGa Cock Watch” movement — especially in the UK — that investigates that patch of flesh that makes up her groin? There are serious efforts on the Internet to try to figure out if Lady GaGa is packing a penis… or not.
When we are listening to the words of a song being sung by a musician, does the gender of the musician matter? I think it really comes down to the subject matter of the music itself. There are songs that are completely gender neutral and there are many songs which imply some sort of gender from the very subject of the song itself.
A straight-laced female friend of mine has been working at her job as a manager for three years. She has been trying to get along with the all male upper management and be included in the informal “Boys Club” where the real work of the day gets done in brief men’s room discussions and during a liquored up lunch hour. My friend is the only female manager — but she doesn’t feel the “ins”… “included” or “involved” — she feels isolated in one corner while her male bosses seem so far away.
