Three Wednesdays in January

In 2021, on three consecutive Wednesdays in January, in a trium of blood-bound events, we survived a catastrophe, we served a correction, and we held a celebration. Democracy is, at times, a gory and brutal mess — an angry boil in need of lancing — and sometimes in need of a realignment of values based on the witnessing of a live horror, in real time, as we are confronted by the monsters some of us have become in the lighted dark of day.

Why Democrats Will Save President Trump From Impeachment

Donald Trump is not a Republican. He was a Democrat for 50 years of his life. He is a liberal. He ran for president as a Republican because Hillary was already coronated as the presidential pick of the DNC before the primary even started. Trump would have LOVED to run for president as a Democrat AGAINST Obama — and the result would have been the same: President Trump — the Democrat version!

Do the Hounds Finally have Obama?

Well, it finally happened.  The line between Republican paranoia and Democrat fear finally met in the middle and Barack Obama is caught, dead center, in an inescapable vise of his own doing.  The Republican hounds have been after him since day one, hoping just to nip him up a bit to put a bit of blood in the water so the President is belittled and begrudged bite-by-bite until there’s nothing left of his presidency except an empty shell of what could have been and what never was.
