On November 27, 2008 — we created this “Memeingful” blog — even though “memeingful” was not a word at that time and meant nothing. We all knew what a “meme” was thanks to the genius of Richard Dawkins — but “memeingful” was intended to be a dizzy mix of Dawkins and knowing. We started this blog to create “meaning in the meme.”
We are required to always accept new information because we never know when we’ll find out what we thought we always knew was true, never was. I am still amazed to learn that in Southern pockets of the United States that many people viciously, and wrongly, believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim when he is not and never was.

Today, Panopticonic helps us fight back against the decay of personal privacy under the eyeing thumb of those that surveil us on a daily basis.

Proposition 8 passed in California overturning the Gay marriage law by 5% margin. In the two weeks since the election, activists have been going on TV and torturing the Mormon Church for their $20 million campaign to Pass the Prop and they have been educating people about the fairness of love in any marriage:
I’m sure you’ve met them before — the people that do a thousand things yet have no meaning or magnitude attached to the learning in the experience. They live overwhelmed and without wonder.
