Donald Trump in Washington Square Park

Last week, Janna was in Greenwich Village, and she happened upon a street filming scene near Washington Square Park starring Donald Trump.  She snagged The Donald in action with her iPhone.  Who knew then what we know now:  Trump was filming the opening for last night’s live “Celebrity Apprentice” finale.

Supporting Coco Over Leno

Though not everyone here at the Boles Blogs Network is fond of Conan O’Brien, I do agree that it was a poor decision for Jay Leno to have been moved to a different show at ten o’clock. Rather, Jay should have retired so that NBC could continue showing dramatic television and Conan and Jimmy should have been put where they tenuously exist at the moment. Instead, the ridiculousness of the last few months took place and now NBC wants to push The Tonight Show to 12:05am.

NBC Fails Jay and Conan

In the biggest recantation since New Coke and Coke Blak, NBC/Comcast are rumored to be reversing their ridiculous removal of Jay Leno from “The Tonight Show” and pushing Conan O’Brien back into the late night boneyard where he belongs.

Leaving Jay Leno

Jay Leno is leaving “The Tonight Show” after hosting it since 1992 and it makes no sense for NBC to dump Jay in favor of the flavorless — and frankly bland and unentertaining — Conan O’Brien.

Annie Duke Wins Celebrity Apprentice

Last night, the awful Celebrity Apprentice ground to a halt to wrongly “choose” Joan Rivers as Donald Trump’s newest lapdog. The tragedy in the wrongful dubbing is that the real winner, the true winner, was poker champ Annie Duke.

As Beijing Sings, the World Sighs

In April, I wrote — Extinguishing the 2008 Olympic Beijing Flame — and I wondered then about the passion and the fruitfulness of the Olympics in Red China.
After watching the opening ceremonies on Friday night, I cannot think of a more effective spectacle explaining how True Art meets politics to conflate the nobleness of the human body into one giant, shared, sigh of relief.

NEWS FLASH: TIM RUSSERT STILL DEAD

NBC newsman Tim Russert died of a massive heart attack on Friday and, ever since his untimely death at age 58, MSNBC has been “All Tim’s Death, All The Time.”  We all loved Tim, but enough is enough.

Semiotic Scathing of Guns in America

Public Opinion is formed in America in the disparate experiences of the masses that the major media then forms and congeals into an entity that can be measured and exploited via advertising.
The Editorial Cartoon, however, has always found its most purposeful purchase just outside that mainstream media venom line to pock and poke fun of falsely considered mainstream media values with sticks of truth and the bones of what is real.

A Pornographic Hectoring from the Grave

NBC News’ Brian Williams breathlessly resurrected a killer before our eyes last night in the visceral perversion of airing the pornographic rantings of a madman — under the guise of news and beneath the veil of human contempt — thus guaranteeing a shooter’s immortality while completely burying the names and the accomplishments of the real and undeserved dead.

Perverts at the Screen Door

NBC news, in association with Perverted Justice, have now taped and aired three televisions programs — and all subsequently re-aired on MSNBC — where pedophiles are entrapped in online chat rooms and in-person “meetings” are set up between the pretend underage teen and the alleged pervert.
