Baroness Margaret Thatcher and the Wiccan Rede

I am not celebrating the death of Baroness Margaret Thatcher.  The passing of the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990 was announced this morning.  It has been said that she is one of the most vilified and controversial of leaders of our time as well as one of the most socially divisive.

She was responsible for the privatisation of several state owned industries and was in Power when the UK went to war with Argentina over the invasion of the Falkland Islands.

Locking Threads Letter of Support for WordPress.com Forums

There’s a bit of a tsunami taking over the WordPress.com support forums as a new policy is slowly being rolled out that new questions are locked for 30 minutes or so — so a paid staff member will have the first shot at answering the question instead of forum volunteers.  I wholly support that new policy and I’ll tell you why.

Trouble With Technology

Technology can be a really wonderful thing – it can make our lives easier and help us do things a lot faster than if we were just sitting around with sticks and stones. The trouble with technology, however, is when it doesn’t work – as you shall see from the following ongoing ordeal that I have been having trying to get a decent quality printout. Sometimes sticks break your bones and stones shatter your spirit.
