We know she is the keeper of her mother’s lies — and now she is the keeper of her own set of mistruths that will pile up to pattern her behavior and help make her, even more so, the reincarnation of Billy Carter.
From one lie to the next:
“Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons,” she told the magazine for its May 23 issue, which will be on newsstands Friday.
Palin said she had the procedure so her jaw and teeth could properly realign: “I look older, more mature and don’t have as much of a chubby little baby face,” she told the magazine.
Palin said she doesn’t obsess over her face and would consider plastic surgery only in an extreme situation.
“I wouldn’t get plastic surgery unless I got in an accident or something terrible and got disfigured,” she said.
Here is the evolution of truth that inevitably follows the lie:
We sent before and after pics of Palin to Dr. Brian Glatt, a board-certified New Jersey-based plastic surgeon with more than 12 years of expertise, and here is what he told us.
“Her upper face, her eyes, brows, and forehead seem to be the same as they were,” he says, “She’s lost a little volume in her cheeks from weight loss, which you’d expect in someone young, but the lower third of her face is a dramatic difference; you could draw a line across the lower third, it’s like two different people.”
“She had a double chin before and that’s gone now and it looks to me like she’s had extensive liposuction throughout her neck, including under her chin, which has clearly been liposuctioned, it’s obvious to me,” Glatt insists.
Money makes a person beautiful, she surely thinks. Gross, really.
The family is definitely re-imagining the very idea of grotesque with each new project.
