When it comes to gender discrimination, the Catholic Church is trying to have it both ways in the public square.  On one hand, Bishops claim women do not own their bodies and must not practice birth control and that every woman should be denied free contraception coverage by their employers — while the other hand is silently jerking off 8,000 children in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee:

Sealed documents filed in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee bankruptcy identify at least 8,000 instances of child sexual abuse and 100 alleged offenders – 75 of them priests – who have not previously been named by the archdiocese, a victims’ attorney said Thursday.

Archdiocese spokeswoman Julie Wolf said she did not have enough information to respond to the assertion, made by attorney Jeffrey Anderson during a pivotal hearing before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Susan V. Kelley. Anderson represents about 350 of the 570 victim-survivors who have filed claims in the case.

It appears the Catholic Church does not believe in protecting children from priests or allowing women to make rational, reasonable, choices about their own bodies. What kind of religion condemns women in public while undressing children in private for personal pleasure?

Is it unreasonable to claim the official position of the Catholic Church is to love the penis and hate the vagina?  Some might even dare to draw the obscene conclusion that the reason the Church is so against birth control is because they want to keep their “child pipeline” open and plentiful for ongoing molestation.

The nation’s Roman Catholic bishops have rejected a compromise on birth control coverage that President Obama offered on Friday and said they would continue to fight the president’s plan to find a way for employees of Catholic hospitals, universities and service agencies to receive free contraceptive coverage in their health insurance plans, without direct involvement or financing from the institutions.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops — which has led the opposition to the plan — said in a statement late Friday that the solution offered by the White House to quell a political furor was “unacceptable and must be corrected” because it still infringed on the religious liberty and conscience of Catholics.

The Catholic bishops are unreasonable social terrorists. They want everyone in America to be beholden to their God and their Bible and their lack of human morality and the GOP are deliciously being sucked into an unwinnable war against the female body and the unprotected child — and their reckoning will come on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
