Watch out watch out Valentine’s Day is upon us. Be prepared to be visually assaulted by all things pink and red, by images of hearts and cupids and flowers and all things romantic slushy and sentimental.
Be prepared to pay over the odds for flowers, chocolates and meals out and heaven help you if you have not already pre-ordered your red roses or your heart balloon.

On the eve of The New Year, it’s time to once again fecklessly peer into the future to divine the yet unknown for the year 2010.
We, the Human Race, are born of a selfish breeding. We care not about the past or the future. We only care about our now — and that’s bad for the business of the world. Today is Earth Day, and I wonder if we should change the name to “Us
Day” in order to get broader, and more dedicated, involvement in the
scheme.
Am I the only one feeling the first day of the Obama Administration was a series of botched moments? Sure, the evening ended well with a deep expression of love between man and wife, but the entirety of the day begged for greatness but only promised the ordinary.

Is the earth better off today than it was when the first Earth Day was proclaimed in 1970 — have we made progress together in helping cure the earth or have we only made things worse?
