We all know what a traditional Spammer looks and smells like. They overload your blog with links to diet pills and fat creams and breast enhancers and penis extenders. You can smell their nastiness permeating across the universe.

Do You Trust Gmail?

When Gmail started two years ago I thought the idea of having a free, giant, email account was divine and I paid someone on eBay $40 to get one of the first Gmail invitations.
Yahoo Mail Beta Disappointing
Last Friday I was finally invited to participate in the Yahoo! Mail Beta and I was immediately disappointed in the experience. From what I had read all over the internet since the Beta program was introduced, I thought the new Yahoo! Mail Beta was going to finally allow me to jump online and run all my 15 email accounts — I would settle for four — from one centralized location instead of having to use Outlook 2003 as my meter of reading, delivering and managing email.

After less than a week after being alive, the new Script Professor David W. Boles website already proudly hangs in the first few spots in a search for “Script Professor” on Google and MSN and Yahoo! and that is incredibly pleasing.

Blaming the End User
If you are part of a business where you serve people or you build a product for people, do you believe the customer is always right? Or do you believe customers are often wrong and it is your job to let them know and roundly reprimand them?
I REALly Hate DRM!
I never learn! Microsoft’s Facockta Digital Rights Management is a joke! DRM failed for me on Yahoo! Music at least six times over two months and, this morning, DRM failed again on Real’s Rhapsody music service after less than two weeks!
Ten Thousand and Counting
It’s amazing that, via BlogExplosion alone, this Urban Semiotic blog has reached over 10,000 unique visitors since June 1, 2005 and it wouldn’t have happened without many of you!
