We expressed our love for guitarist Jim Campilongo in our — Jim Campilongo Goes Orange — review and Jim has mentioned our review, but not linked back to us, from his MySpace:

We suspect Jim didn’t want you reading the rest of our review. We sort of didn’t like his songstress.
We much prefer Jim in his cats-scaring — “Monkey in a Movie” — modus rather than playing background rhythm for less talented singers.
We still love Jim — even though he quoted us but didn’t link back to us — because without him, we never would’ve purchased our beloved ’65 Fender Princeton Reverb.
That’s a great way to look at it, David. Jim should let his talents shine more and not just be a feeble backing band for someone who doesn’t take full advantage of his greatness.
I certainly agree, Gordon. Jim is big enough and talented enough to sell his own stuff without relying on a singer to help sell his CDs. Long live the instrumental!
