Big Brother 9: Shitty Shorts and Poopy Panties

I am a fan of Big Brother on CBS television even though the “reality show” is filled with miscreants, the dishonorable, and the verifiably wacky.

Each season of Big Brother descends deeper into debauchery and a cruel malfeasance blasted on everyone within eyeshot and earshot of each other — and while one recoils from the idea of actually watching the disassembly of lives in real time — one cannot help but find delight in the evolutionary machinations of a house full of people fighting each other for a $500,000.00 USD prize.

This year’s Big Brother is the first “winter” edition, but that doesn’t mean the show, or the people starring in it, are any better than the previous summertime versions.

Big Thinkers

The word requires Big Thinkers.

The job of the Big Thinker is to sit around and tinker with ideas and connect them with opposite thoughts and unheard of notions.

Connecting the dots where most people see only white space is what sets the Big Thinker apart from the meandering mind that merely sits and waits for instruction on living while the world spins around them.

Big Thinkers set agendas, create visions, and make the notion of a darkening world a brighter place.

Honor big thoughts by confirming your interest in, and your desire of, changes that improve humanity instead of leaving us rotting in the status quo.

Big Brother 7 in the House

If there is a reality show on television I will watch it and I will enjoy it and I will — usually — be furious with the winner because the person who wins is rarely a kind and gentle spirit.
The sort of person who wins a reality television show is ordinarily cruel and misbegotten and hateful.
The biggest and the best of all the reality shows is Big Brother, now in its seventh season on CBS.
Last year Keyser Soze won Big Brother 6 and it was a huge disappointment.
I’m back with Big Brother this year because the live feeds are irresistible. To be able to watch live on the internet 24/7 what is happening inside the Big Brother house is a terrific treat if you are interested in human behavior.
Janelle and Kaysar work out together while plotting against others in the house:

Super Lucky Big Number

Yesterday I wrote a lengthy review about my new Cingular/at&t BlackBerry 8700c phone/PDA/slicer-dicer/messagemonster. I also decided to kill my current unlucky phone number because an opportunity of great passion and magnitude was unwittingly offered to me by the Amazon.com/Cingular/at&t/RIM/BlackBerry cabal that I could not refuse.

In my Lucky Lucky Number article I learned, to my great dismay, that my cellular phone number was UNlucky because it held four 4s and if you know anything about Chinese numerology, a 4 = Death. I have not ordered Chinese food from that guy since I learned he was mocking my “Lucky Lucky” number and not being genuine.

I love kidding around as long as I’m in on the cultural joke! So my phone number was Death x Four and even if you don’t believe in that kind of number energy, once you are made aware that dialing your phone number equals dialing death for some people, you begin to ponder the grander gestures of living where a phone number doesn’t have to kill someone when it is dialed.

Enter the cabal! When you sign up for cellular service with a new carrier you are assigned a new phone number even if you plan to use your existing phone number. Your newly assigned phone number becomes the Service Set Identifier (SSID) for the phone because when you use an old cellular number on a new service that phone number still belongs to say, Verizon, even though you’re on say, Sprint.

Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon

After my “Lucky Lucky Number” debacle, I have been searching Chinese culture for further signs of my dismay, delight or demise and I discovered I was born in the Year of the Dragon: Chinese Dragon

People born in the Year of the Dragon are healthy, energetic, excitable, short-tempered, and stubborn.

They are also honest, sensitive, brave, and they inspire confidence and trust. Dragon people are the most eccentric of any in the eastern zodiac.

They neither borrow money nor make flowery speeches, but they tend to be softhearted which sometimes gives others an advantage over them.

They are compatible with Rats, Snakes, Monkeys, and Roosters. You are full of life and enthusiasm. You are popular and “fun-loving.” You will make a good artist, priest or politician.
